YUM!

Over Christmas break I cooked/baked up a storm! I LOVE being in the kitchen... Here are a few samples of the food that I made...I'm sure this summer you will see many more examples of my ADORATION of the kitchen!! LOL!

Just an extra note, I VERY RARELY use box mixes for anything! I love making things from scratch, I don't know why, because Mom uses box mixes on occasion, but I MUCH prefer to make everything on my own!

Firework Frenzy!!

These pictures were taken at the Fourth of July celebration in my home town of Winona Lake. It was rather interesting trying to capture fireworks on camera! I think I took over 300 pictures, with only about 30 (if that many) actually turning out decent! I guess it was worth it because they are pretty neat!

Behold! He comes on a cloud!

These pictures were taken last summer while driving down State Road 15 several miles north of Warsaw.

Pictures like these with the sun coming through the clouds always make me think of God. It seems as if Heaven has opened, and as the sun peers through the clouds, as the halo of light breaks through, and the absolute beauty awes me, I often think, "What will it be like when Christ comes back for the Church?" The Bible talks about Jesus coming on a cloud. Oh! how glorious that day will be for those who are saved!

Rocks and Rivers

These pictures are of the St. Lewis River running through Minnesota. This particular area is Jay Cook State Park, which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, second only to Yosemite! I love rocks and water!!

*****This is one of my favorite pictures that I've ever taken! I love the way the sun hits the bridge and makes it look like part of it is missing. By the way, that is a swinging bridge.*****

Snowscapes

These pictures were taken at home soon before the end of Christmas break. We had gotten almost a foot of snow, and it was beautiful!
